Why this beats your phone
It separates the moment of taking a photo from the moment of sharing it. That gap, however small, is most of the point.
The full picture
A simple point and shoot instant camera with automatic exposure and flash, a built in selfie mirror, and a close up mode for shots from 30 to 50cm. Twist the lens to turn it on, press the shutter, and a credit card sized print comes out in about 90 seconds. There is no screen to review the shot on and no way to post it before it exists as a physical object.
